• Two Weeks Prior: You cannot receive filler injections 2 weeks pre and post any vaccines or dental cleanings.
• One Week Prior: Avoid blood thinning over the counter medications such as aspirin, Motrin, ibuprofen and aleve. Avoid supplements, including; St. John’s Wort, Gingko Bilbao, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng and Vitamin E.
• 2 Days Prior: You may start taking Arnica as a way to minimize bruising.
• 24 Hours Prior: Do not consume alcoholic beverages.

7-10 DAYS PRIOR: Avoid taking aspirin or other NSAIDS such as ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, Aleve, Celebrex, Fish Oil, Ginko Bilbao, St. John’s Wort and high doses of Vitamin E to reduce risk of bleeding and bruising at treated sites.

24 HOURS PRIOR: Avoid consumption of alcoholic beverages as this can increase your risk of bleeding and bruising at site of treatment. Take a Tylenol (if not contraindicated) 1 hour prior to your appointment to help with discomfort you ma have.

POST INJECTIONS: You will not be able to workout for 24 hours post injections, so please plan accordingly! No facials of any kind for 14 days post injections due to the potential of the botox moving around. You will not be able to lay flat on your back for  4 hours post injections

You will receive an automatic email in regards to a follow up for your cosmetic injections. It is important that Neuromodulator follow ups are done NO SOONER than 14 days from your initial injections and no later than 18 days after your initial injections if requiring a touch up.

Botox/Nuceiva Injections are very quick and painless, but results are not immediate. Botox/Nuceiva gradually takes full effect in 10-14 days. Please allow 2 weeks for your botox to take full effect and settle prior to making any judgment.

Botox/Nuceiva lasts on average 3-4 months, you cannot get Botox injections any sooner than 3 months from your initial injection.

Botox/Nuceiva injections are not at full result for 3 months straight, it begins to wear off at 6-8 weeks (very slowly + gradually).

Botox/Nuceiva is a PREVENTATIVE treatment and is not “filling” already formed wrinkle lines on your face. You must keep up with Botox injections consistently to notice a difference in already formed lines and wrinkles. Sadly, this is not a one and done treatment, and results take time, but will eventually lessen or remove the appearance of deep lines.

Most times, yes! Unless your injector is still getting to know your muscle patterns and strengths, then sometimes dosing is adjusted. Many believe that they will need less units over time, which isn’t always the case. We as injectors must treat you appropriately to ensure you receive lasting results.

No! The good news is that it will wear off and your results are not permanent. But there is no reverse treatment that can be performed if you end up with an undesired result from botox injections. We just let it run it’s course which takes 3-4 weeks to begin to resolve itself.

Results are seen immediately and improve over time. On average you may require 3-4 and up to 6 treatments per area depending on the individual. Treatments are to be spaced out every 4-6 weeks apart. The results are permanent unless excess weight is gained in the treated area. Optimal results are seen after 2-3 treatments.

Please expect swelling, bruising, tingling sensation and itchy sensation post treatment.
